playing the drum
reading books (she talks while she reads them to the class at school and loves to be read to, especially touch and feel books and her animal book... we are working on animal sounds-see above)
sounds and light projector (we are preparing for our 2 summer camping trips this year and call this activity "camping." We lay on her bedroom floor with blankets and the lights off and look up at the ceiling. Sydney has a projector that displays colorful pictures (moving) on the ceiling to different sounds and music. One slide has monkeys and this is where she picked up how to make the monkey sound from. She loves to watch these pictures with us snuggle together on her bedroom floor.
