CHRISTmas
Christmas this year was fabulous. It was a wonderful celebration of Christ's birth with family and especially new family members! Sydney brings so much joy to our lives. We started with Christmas Eve with the Oosse side of the family. Sydney was so excited and into her presents. She attempted to open a couple and began pulling herself up to her knees. On Christmas Eve she also began to crawl. She is getting into everything now and we have some additional baby proofing to complete at home.
We got dressed up for church on Christmas Eve and went to the childrens service at my sisters church. All of the children dress up in costumes and play their part by bringing an item to Jesus in the front of the church. Sydney was an angel, but wanted to play with the halo instead.
After church we opened our stocking gifts at Brent and Lindsays house. Here is a picture of Sydney playing with her unopened gifts in her Christmas pjs.
Brian and I were choosen by Max to have bedtime stories read to us. Normally I read to Max, but this time Max read to us. He is growing up so quickly, as is SO smart!
On Christmas morning Sydney played with some of her new toys before we headed to the Fischers for Christmas day. She liked riding in her new wagon with her new friends, which she will soon be able to walk behind.
The weather on Christmas day was beautiful. It was warm and sunny so we took Sydney outside in her new sled from Grandma and Grandpa. She didn't enjoy the crunchy sound of the snow from melting and refreezing. We look forward to a nice snowy day when we can take Sydney outside again.
